1. They are a group of friends trying to figure it out

From Schmidt, who is a successful business guy with a well-paying marketing job, to Nick Miller who dropped out of law school to willingly become a bartender, this group of friends doesn't really know what their passion is in life but they are all helping each other figure it out. They are getting by and realizing what they all really want in life.

2. This group of friends/ roommates has each other's backs no matter what

No matter what they are going through and how crazy their actions are they are always helping each get by because they genuinely care about each other. They even date each other and still care about their group of friends more than anything else. They are also all completely different, but that's why their friendship works. Whether it's a bad breakup or struggling in their career they are they for each other in a heartbeat. Even though sometimes they want to kill each other, they really do adore each other.

3. Jessica Day's outfits

Okay so if you don't just love the way Jess dresses, I'm sorry but you're wrong. Even if her preppy, quirky style is totally not you, you have to just appreciate how adorable and out together she always looks. She wears either a dress or skirt almost every day and that is just commitment, but she still looks relaxed and completely normal. Her personality goes along exactly with her style and that is what I love about her. I want to be Jessica Day, end of story.

4. They are so weird, but we somehow still understand them

From their crazy decisions to the way they communicate with each other, they are completely off the wall and it makes us truly belly laugh. However we're not just sitting here thinking "Wow they're nuts!", we actually relate to them because we all can be weird in our own way, like each of them is. They go through the same things we do: breakups, cheating, family problems, work problems and much more. They let us know that it's okay to weird and crazy!

5. They aren't married or in long-term relationships

They are a group of roommates in their early 30s and they do not have a family yet and this is totally okay. They have this amazing friend group and they are having the best time. They are doing their best to look for love, but this show lets us know they if we are in our 20s and 30s it's really okay if we don't have a family yet or are in a long-term relationship. They meet great people along they way and really take the time to learn about themselves along the way, which we can totally relate to.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
