I don't know about you, but meme's are currently my favorite thing out there on social media. All meme's are, are pictures with a funny saying written on top of it, yet these pictures have me uncontrollably laughing for hours. It's not even like they are hard to find either, whether you're just scrolling through Facebook or type in 'funny meme's' on Google you're for sure going to find one that is your favorite. Meme's are always current too, with whatever issue or event is going on, you better believe there is going to be several pictures coming out in light of the situation, good or bad. What's even better is you can make your own, just go onto to Google and find a website that lets you do it and you're all set to start roasting your own friends with these great pictures.

1. They are so easy to find.

Seriously, you can probably see hundreds of them on Facebook or Twitter everyday when you're just causally scrolling through. Or, even a quick Google search does the job. You can find a meme about any situation or event that is happening in your life and they will easily make you laugh.

2. They are very current.

Whenever something big happens, a meme is sure to show up. For example, the Presidential election when Ted Cruz dropped out; the meme's for that went on for days and were very popular. Or when the Gorilla was killed, the meme's for that also went viral. Or maybe on a lighter note, it's finals time and the meme's about you failing a test keep popping up. All three of these get a good chuckle out of me.

3. They put you in a better mood.

I know laughing puts me in a better mood so whenever I see funny meme's I feel a lot better about everything. I mean once I start looking at them, I can't stop because they just get better and better as I keep searching. But seriously, whatever mood you are in they will make it better, take my word for it.

4. You can make your own.

Whether you want to roast your friend or try to become internet famous, you can create your own meme's. Just type into google 'meme maker' and you have all the power in the world.

5. You can bond with other people and make friends.

If you like meme's and you start sharing yours, like showing people, this is an easy way to bond with others. You'll be able to make friends because who doesn't love meme's or someone who can make you laugh, and I know I'll make you laugh if you look at all the pictures on my phone, since 99.9% of all my pictures are memes...Oops.

Or, you realize that you both want to dip a taco in nacho cheese so you become best friends for life.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
