5 Reasons Why I Love My Boyfriend
Abigayle Maxwell

I have been dating you for a while, Nick, and I have got to say that this "while" has been the best of my life. Every memory, every laugh, every smile, every moment with you has been pure perfection. I don't think I could ever even imagine my life without you. So, I just want you to know these few, out of the millions of, reasons why I love you so much.

1. You put up with my sarcasm

We both know that I am sarcastic, and it can seem really bitchy at times, but you handle it smoothly. You know when I am just joking around, so you are sarcastic back. This always leaves us both sitting there laughing and having an amazing time. But, you also know when I am being sarcastic when I am upset. When this is happening you just hold me and ignore it until I feel better. I always feel better when I am in your arms.

2. You are there for me when I need you the most

I need you a lot, so you can't always be there. But, when I am at the lowest points you are there. Just the other day I wa crying hyterically in your bed telling you how depressed I was. It was after an argument where I was definitely in the wrong, but instead of continuing to be upset with me you grabbed me and said, "I love you for you. Not your actions, but you. No one else is you. I will never love anyone except for you. I love you for you Abby." I just melted. Those few words made my crying come to a slow stop as you held me and kissed me. You made me feel a million times better.

3. You are the funniest person I have ever met

Wow, are you funny. I just don't know how to describe it. It isn't a joking funny, but something else altogther. You point out the simpliest irony that is overlooked by all others, and it is always extremely hilarious. Especially the way you point it out. You alwas use different faces or voices or you just use the funniest sarcasm. You just make the world seem lighter through your humour.

4. You make me happy

Regardless of how great I am at showing how much joy you bring me, you need to know you make me the happiest I have ever been. Every single day we message, talk and/or see eachother puts a smile on my face. Every time you tell me you love me I can't wipe it away. Every time I think about you I grin so wide its inhuman. Every moment I touch you I can't stop thinking about how happy you make me. Every single kiss brings a burst of joy into my day so large I stay happy for the rest of the day.

5. Because you love me too

I love you partially because you love me. This sounds bad, but I would love you regardless. I just love you more because of this. Everything you do for me shows me you love me. Every time you "borrow" your brothers car to see me, and every time you were late for class, every time you lose sleep just to talk to me, all of it shows that you love me. The way you look at me and smile, and the way you touch me and hold me. Everything you do that regards me shows me your endless love.

Nicolas, this past year and eight months has been the best of my life. I wouldn't trade our memories for anything in the world. I am eternally in love with you, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you Nicolas Pena, always and forever.

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Kourtney Kardashian

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
