5 Reasons Why I'm Glad Nick Viall Is The New Bachelor

The announcement of the new Bachelor has been long anticipated by fans all over. Well last night, that waited ended and it didn't really go how everyone expected/wanted. As you all know by now, because there was no way to hide from this news, Nick Viall is officially the new Bachelor. Half of you are excited, like myself, and half of you are really really pissed off. Don't get me wrong, I love me some Luke Pell and Chase Brody McNary; but it's about time that Nick Viall got the chance to have people competing for him rather than him having to battle to the death for a woman. Here's to you, Nick Viall, go get yourself a woman! For those of you who are pissed off, upset or on the fence about our new Bachelor, here are some reasons to hopefully help you hop on the Nick train.

1. He's hot as hell.

I mean, come on. Look at that bod. There really isn't much more to say other than I will not be complaining about having to look at him for a whole season. Also, his impeccable taste in fashion and how well he dresses himself just adds to the hotness of Nick Viall.

2. He's mature.

Whether it's giving advice to the girls on "Bachelor in Paradise" or being the bigger person when it came to the many altercations with Josh Murray, he always knew what to say and how to handle the situation. That's exactly what we need in the Bachelor; someone who is mature enough to handle all of the craziness that is about to come his way.

3. He's funny.

Did you see the credits from this week of "Bachelor in Paradise?" Nick gave his best impressions of his fellow cast mates and it was pretty funny. Oh, and he loves pizza too.

4. He deserves to find love.

He's been the runner up twice now and also taken his chances on "Bachelor in Paradise" but that's not stopping him from giving it another shot.

5. He's husband material.

I don't care what anyone has to say, Nick Viall is someone that I would marry in a heart beat if given the chance. Since his first appearance on the show, he has grown so much; from the bad boy to the voice of reasoning, Nick has definitely become the ultimate bae. He's older, knows exactly what he wants, he's a good friend, has great character and clearly isn't afraid to do what it takes to find the perfect woman.

Nick Viall, your fans are wishing you the best! But just in case you change your mind or things don't work out on your season, feel free to hit a girl up. See you in January!

On the Upper East Side, Blair Waldorf is an icon. She's what every girl aspires to be. She's beautiful, confident, and can handle any obstacle that life throws at her. Sure, she may just be a television character. But for me, she's a role model and theres a lot that can be learned from Queen B.

“I just want you to know that you’re very special… and the only reason I’m telling you is that I don’t know if anyone else ever has.”

As frustrating and annoying as it can be, being a girl is really awesome. We are beautiful inside and out. Not a lot of people may see that, but girls have a ton of amazing qualities.

We have unique flirting skills.

Us girls have a significant way to flirt with other people. Even when we say the most random or awkward things, we have a way of making everything sound cute and planned. It’s just a gift; we’re good like that.

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:

If you are like me, you have an interesting personality. Basically, you love to be sassy and snarky, gossip, and act like a total bitch (not really), but deep down, you are actually a very genuinely nice person. The idea of actually hurting someone truly makes you feel bad, and you probably have never actually hurt someone’s feelings because your kindness always shines through, even if you do not want it to. Not sure exactly what I would call this type of personality, but if you identify with it, here are some feelings you can undoubtedly relate to.
