1. Gucci Mane is the quintessential representation of a renaissance man that has morally transcended many other rappers in the trap rap field of hip-hop.
Gucci has decided to change his life, give up on drugs and unhealthy life style choices, encouraged and empowered women in all fields of humanity, and most importantly shown the black community that change is possible, attainable, and better for our overall personal development. Gucci is one of very few rapper that has spoken about the complexities of lives of Black people in a way that expresses humility and genuineness that is truly authentic to his own personal lifestyle.
2. Trap Music is the center point of the southern Black community and should be embraced unapologetic by the people it was intended for, Black people.
Gucci Mane encourages and inspires Black people to be successful regardless of the racially oppressive and patriarchal boundaries that have been placed on men and women of color. Gucci is the spokesman for the concept of "Sauce" and this is something that all Black college students grapple with as the acquire their new positions in the black community as educators, doctors, lawyers, preachers, and engineers. He tell us not to get lost in the "sauce", this being a message to people who move up the social ladder and get consumed by material possessions and prestige.
