Most of the time, it doesn’t even need to be voiced out loud. One girl says, “I have to go to the bathroom,” and everyone one else just ends up following her there. It’s a mutual understanding that if one person leaves, the rest must follow. In general, girls tend to travel in mobs, but why, you may ask? Well, good thing I’m a girl.
1. Protection
For girls, power exists in large numbers. Everyone is there for each other if any harms comes their way, especially when they are harming themselves.
2. Gossip
That's their favorite hobby. Regardless of how much drama it can create in the future, girls are all about gossip.
3. Self-Confidence
There’s this perception in girl culture that the more people you’re with, the more popular you are and therefore, the more confident you seem to be. Most of the time, this is just to cover up your own insecurities.
4. Venting
Girls usually get annoyed by very stupid, little things, and that’s completely fine when they have someone to vent to. Ranting and getting emotions out is part of the female life.
5. To Not Be Left Behind
Every girl can vouch for this. You don't want to be the only one not there when something really exciting or embarrassing happens. You don't want to feel left out when everyone has a new inside joke and you missed it because you weren't there.
