Through all of the hustle and bustle that life can bring to one's life, one can't help but wish that the world would just slow down for a little while. For college students, this slow-paced time is known as Christmas Break. This break is a time for them to unwind and relax after the first semester. Here are a few reasons why I love Christmas Break.

1. So. Much. Time.

Almost a month of break? It's a lot of time, but it goes by fast.

2. Home-Made Food

Nothing beats home-made food, like tater-tot hot dish, when you've been eating cafeteria food for the past four months.

3. Visiting Friends

Admit it, there's nothing that you'd want to do more than seeing the friends that have been there for you as you've grown up and saw you transition into college. The perk of coming back home for break is that you can choose who you hang out with.

4. Making Money

If you have so much time, why not work a little? Not only does it keep you busy for hours at a time, but it also allows you to make extra cash and lets you treat yourself.

5. No Responsibilities

No homework, no problem.

No matter what one thinks, we can all agree that Christmas Break is a good thing.

Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

Where do we begin when we start talking about our roommates? You practically spend every moment with them, they become your second family and they deal with you at your best and at your absolute worst.
