5 Reasons Why Chick-Fil-A Is The Actual Worst

It’s always there on the way home from a long day at work. That red logo staring at you as you drive by. It’s impossible to not at least think about stopping or smelling it while driving by. It probably has about a fifteen car line all waiting to get to the last window to be handed a magic red and white bag. It’s the restaurant with the cows pressuring you to eat more chicken. It’s probably what food we all be eating in heaven. It's practically on every street. You guessed right, it’s Chick-Fil-A.

1. It’s impossible to pass up.

You can smell it miles away and the signs never let you accidentally miss the exit. The convenience of this place is insane. There comes a point where you realize there is no reason not to go there for food. Why would I want to go anywhere else if there is probably a Chick-Fil-A close by?

2. It’s sauces never change.

No matter what, Chick-Fil-A is loyal. The same food and sauce I had during childhood are the exact same. I always think I might one day try some new sauce, but it never gets old. I just can't break that trust.

3. It’s closed on Sunday.

I understand that we all need to go to church on Sunday. I also understand that we need to have a day of rest, but goodness it seriously gets me every time.

4. It never gets old.

I don’t think there will ever be a day where I tell myself that I don’t need Chick-Fil-A. It just seriously doesn’t get old. I don’t even remember my first experience trying this place but I bet it was magical.

5. It understands me.

The staff is always so nice, even when I hardly socialize until they hand me my food. They give me more sauce than what I need. It’s like an ideal friendship. Except you can’t buy friends.

Thank your local Chick-Fil-A and buy someone the best meal they will have all day. Maybe even the person behind you in line! But most of all, thank God before every meal.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
