5 Reasons Why Avocados Are Necessary In Everyone's Life

So... what's all the hype about surrounding avocados??? If you've ever had one for yourself, you'd know that they're simply THE BOMB. They can be used for literally so many different things and, not to mention, still healthy and offer so many nutritional benefits. In case you were wondering, here is a list of the many beneficial and diverse uses for avocados!

1. GUAC

Who doesn't love a nice big bowl of guac??? Whether it's homemade or from Chipotle, it's bound to be at least pretty good. Nothing can compare to guac and chips when you're looking for a healthy, afternoon snack. You can even pair with a margarita to keep the Mexican food theme going, if you'd like :)

2. AVOCADO TOAST

It's so simple. Literally peel 2 avocados, toast two pieces of multi grain bread, and prepare to spend about $7 for it if you go out to eat. But honestly, it's so simple, and so good. It'll fill you up all day!

3. AVOCADO FACE MASKS

What could be better than something that's good to eat and also good for the skin? You can make an avocado face mask out of honey, avocado and water; and it will make your face glow for days. This combination works so well that Sephora and other skin care companies sell it for upwards of $30.

4. AVOCADO HAIR MASK

Using the same ingredients as the face mask, just add lemon juice and olive oil to this mix. Apply this combination to the ends of your hair, and you will see a shine that no conditioner can even compete with.

5. FABRIC DYE

If you're tired of toxins and putting chemicals in your body that you're not comfortable with, boil the fabric with the pit and skin of the avocado; and surprisingly, you'll end up with a pretty pale pink colored fabric.

When it comes to the benefits of avocados, the more you know won't hurt ya :)

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
