5 Reasons Why I Am Binging On 'Gilmore Girls'

I have only recently begun watching the famous TV series "Gilmore Girls" on Netflix, and I have to say, after only three episodes, I was hooked. It's all about the mother-daughter relationship, with love, friendships and a whole lot of coffee. Below I have listed five reasons why I am binging on "Gilmore Girls," and why you should, too.

1. The cast is hilarious.

The whole cast is witty and smart and half the time I can't even catch what they are saying, but when I do, I find myself laughing out loud. They make fun of pop culture of that time, and their sarcasm is endless. It is not only the main characters, either; it is everyone in that episode that is hilarious. Each character has their own personality, which leads me to my second point.

2. Every person has their own creative personality.

Rory is the smart one. Lorelai is the funny one. Luke is the grumpy one. Lane is the rocker chick. The list goes on. With such a wide variety of personalities and characters, the show never becomes dull. Someone is always doing something that makes the watcher more and more intrigued.

3. Motivation factor.

Have you every watched or read something that made you want to go and change your life and do something new? This shows makes me want to drink black coffee, read a hundred books a month, and listen to every CD made. The characters have habits that you want to become your own habits, but they are not bad habits (I've never known reading to be a bad habit).

4. Loving everyone.

In "Gilmore Girls," the town is small and everyone knows everyone, but everyone also loves everyone. It would be such a wonderful world if everyone at least loved everyone else. I'm not saying everyone has to get along at all times and that sort of thing, but you can tell that everyone in Stars Hollow loves everyone else.

5. I want to watch the REVIVAL.

The Gilmore Girls are back and apparently better than ever. I still have a couple more seasons to go on the old Gilmore Girls, but I'm trying my hardest to finish just so I can watch the new episodes on Netflix.

I love the Gilmore Girls because of all the reasons I listed, and so many more. It is an all around great show because it's humorous, with life lessons, and you can't help but fall in love.

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
