5 Reasons You Should Watch Riverdale
The Hollywood Reporter

Riverdale is a show produced by the CW, full of suspense, tragedy, comedy, and love. I watched it all in about 24 hours, only stopping for some very needed sleep, and here are 5 reasons that I think you should watch it too.

5. It's suspenseful, not scary.

Any and all of my friends know that I am the absolute worst when it comes to watching scary movies. I can't even watch Criminal Minds when I'm alone or without watching something else before falling asleep. But I was able to watch Riverdale, all by myself, until almost 3:00 a.m. (when I passed out) without being too scared.... even if I did have to double check my closet and lock my door.

4. The Blossoms.

You think your family drama is bad? You've got nothing on this one. The Blossoms are the elite of Riverdale, but inside Thornhill's gates lie secrets that even the darkest souls in the family are not willing to face. The entire first season revolves around solving the mystery of Jason Blossom's death. Cheryl Blossom, aka Queen of Riverdale High and twin to the infamous Jason Blossom, is accused of his murder, even though she loved her brother more than anyone else who had ever lived. And the parents are on a whole other level of crazy.

3. Small town vibe.

Riverdale may be a crazy, crime-ridden place, but it's very much that small town feel that makes so many shows so loveable. Yes, it's so annoying that nothing stays secret long enough for someone to fix whatever the heck is going on, but the community sticks together in good times and in bad... except when they're all falling apart

2. Veronica Lodge.

Veronica, aka the Vee to Betty's Bee, the Ice Queen, and Ronnie, is an amazing female character. This girl has been through some serious ish before coming to Riverdale, and that baggage seems to never let her go. But she's that rock solid bada** that we all want to be, while still being such a sweet little cupcake on the inside, and I would watch the show just for her character alone.

1. Bughead.

Jughead Jones and Betty Copper may just be the cutest tv couple that I have seen in a while. They go from barely being friends to being best friends, to loving each other when they couldn't trust anyone else. Without giving any spoilers, she found and loved the beauty in him that was covered by his darkness, and he found and loved the darkness in her that was covered by her beauty.

So basically, it's awesome and I recommend it to anyone needing something to do for a day or two. You're welcome.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
