'Money Heist' Has Broken All Records At Netflix So Here Are 5 Reasons Why You Must Watch It

On July 19th, Netflix will release the new season of "Money Heist." If you already watched this amazing Spanish TV show, this article might be boring. In the case you have not watched the show yet, you must start with the first season right now.

"Money Heist" is about a big robbery. It is a crime-suspense TV show, but I promise you it will blow your mind. When you think you know what it is going to happen, the show surprises you. "Money Heist" has a funny anecdote. This show was made and broadcast in Spanish. However, the show was not successful. Actually, some of its cast members were unemployed when Netflix bought it.

Netflix made some changes to the show. For example, they created two seasons instead of one; they re-edited the episodes to make them 45-50 minutes long. And, it was a completed success. It is the non-English speaking Netflix show with the most views in history, and it won an International Emmy Award as Best Drama Series. So, all these actors who did not have a job, now are celebrities around the world.

Here are my five reasons why you must watch "Money Heist."

1.    Suspense.

I am not going to spoil the show, but the plot is about a group of criminals who want to commit the biggest robbery of history. As you see since the beginning, each step of this theft was perfectly planned. The leading resource of the screenwriters is to have the audience in constant suspense. I promise you won't be able to watch just one episode at a time; you will need more.

2.    Characters.

It is funny, but we do not know the real names of our principal character until the second half of the show. We only know cities: Tokyo, Nairobi, Moscow, Berlin, Rio, Denver or Oslo. Also, the most important character, the brain of this mission is only "The Professor." That idea is fantastic because all of them have a halo of mystery.

The secondary characters are as good as the principals. This show is full of good stories and good actors who make us live this experience as if it were ours.

3.    Creativity.

I am a big fan of new ideas. As a writer, when I see creativity, I always feel happy. "Money Heist" is proof that we can make new productions. We have heard that we are living the golden time of TV and this era is not only in the US, but it is also happening around the world. The screenplay, costumes, the plot, the dialog, all is new on TV.

4.    Celebrating Spanish production.

It is not the first time I have talked about Spanish productions. I consume a lot of Spanish TV and movies. They have a lot of good shows, but "Money Heist" is one of the best (maybe, we can say the best). This show gives you the chance to know Spain better and you will see Salvador Dali with other eyes.

5.    New adventures.

As I said at the beginning, the show was made to finish in the second season, but the impact success it had was enough to write a new group of episodes. It is a challenge because the story was entirely closed; then, we want to know what the argument is to open the story again and if this new chapter will be as good as the first one. I only pray for "Money Heist's" third season to be better than the third season of "Stranger Things."

Now you only have to watch this TV show. If it is your first time, you can start today. If you know the story already, we must wait until July 19.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
