5 Reasons Why To Trust The Process

The Philadelphia Sixers are a upcoming team in the NBA. Besides from being my favorite team in the league, there are many reasons why they will be such a successful team in the near future. Here are some:

1) Young Team and a Promising Future

The sixers team have a bunch of young studs that are going to develop and make great NBA players. The average age of the sixers team is 24. This is promising because the number of young players we have now will hopefully convert into long healthy careers.

2)Never Give Up Attitude

Yes, the sixers do not have the best record in the NBA but that does not mean they do not play hard every single game. No matter how unlikely it is to win they will push every team to the limit. They play with their hearts. A little bit of heart and skill makes a good team in any sport.

3) Embiid and Simmons

Ultimately, the heart of 'The Process", Embiid and Simmons are the future all stars of Philadelphia for multiple years to come. Already this year Embiid has proven himself. He is averaging 19.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game. Not to mention that he is averaging these numbers on limited amount of time played, only playing 28 minutes a game. So it is clear, Embiid has proven he is not a bust. Now Philadelphia anxiously waits the return of Ben Simmons.

4) Overall Exciting Team

Before I say anything about the way the sixers play as a team, I encourage anyone who has not been to a game to get to one this season. Games are so much fun even for no-basketball fans. It truly is a great experience every game. Along with the great experience, the sixers are a fun team to watch because of many reasons. One reason is that they are truly learning and working to play as a team. Great teamwork is always fun to watch!

5) One vs All

Philadelphia already has such a great sense of community and this team is truly strengthening the city's unity. The sixers are underdogs. The last 3 years they have won 57 games and lost 191. That is a win percentage of 30 percent. Every team expects an easy win over the sixers, but the sixers do not give up that easily. The sixers team represents Philly because it is always us against the world. So if you do not like Philly or sixers, it does not matter because we don't care. We will continually wait as the best fan base and keep trusting the process. Good things are bound to come for this Philadelphia basketball team.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
