The Masur Museum of Art is one of the best art museums in Monroe, Louisiana. It has many things to offer to people who are interested in art work and those who just need something to do on a lazy day! Here are a few reasons to visit The Masur Museum of Art.

1. It's the premier art museum in our area

Located in a historic home close to downtown Monroe. The Masur Museum of Art is the largest visual art museum in Northeast Louisiana.

2. It's here for you

The Masur and its ever-friendly staff are always holding art-related community events and projects for the public.

4. Current exhibitions

Now until March 11, 2017, The Masur Museum of Art is exhibiting work by two artists. Artist-in-residence Beili Liu, currently has an installation peice on show entitled Skywell. Everything is Abstract is a series of works, past and present, by Dean Dablow.

As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep.
