5 Reasons to Party on Saturdays Instead of Fridays

With the stress of exams, sports practices, essays, and unruly professors, the school week can be rough. That said, here are 10 reasons why parties on Saturdays are much better than the ones on Friday:

1. You have a whole day to pregame.

Going from day-longs to the parties at night makes the world a better place for everyone!

2. Sports Conflicts

For all you athletes out there, games normally happen on Saturdays so dry Fridays are the worst (or so I've heard).

3. Saturday Tailgates!

College tailgates for the sports games on Saturday are actually the best, so of course, that makes Saturday the better day of the weekend.

4. Sunday Morning Sleep-Ins

Sunday is the Lord's day, so of course, it can be spent sleeping in and enjoying the extra hours of sleep. As one of my friends says, "You can pray away your sins on Sunday."

5. Disregard 1-4 and go out both days because #yolo dude this is college.

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
