I know that many people are terrified of watching scary movies. Even when I mention it to my roommate, she gets goosebumps when thinking about it. The idea haunts her. She would never watch a horror movie, even if she was going to get money for it. On the other hand, I absolutely love horror movies. What's not to love about them?

5. Horror movies burn calories. Believe it or not, horror movies release adrenaline when you are scared. Though you may be sitting down to watch a movie, a few calories burned is still better than zero.


4. It gives you a sense of thrill.


3. Your imagination runs wild. When you are watching a horror film, most of the times you let your imagination think of what will happen next .


2. It is an excuse to scare someone else.


1. It is great entertainment. Some people enjoy not knowing what will happen, and scary movies provide that kind of joy.


Horror films are great because they are better watched with groups of people than alone. Next time their is a horror movie on, try watching it. You may not be the biggest fan, but you never know what will happen and maybe this is a good enough reason to like them.
