5 Reasons To Be Obsessed With Grey's Anatomy

1. The Twisted Sisters

Meredith is the namesake of the show, and her character, I would say, is the one who goes through the most. She loses almost everyone she cares about, her husband dies, so does the half-sister she didn't know existed and then knew existed, and this is how she becomes all dark and twisty. Death doesn't scare her. But now she's learning how to be okay again, and finding her new support system and becoming less dark and twisty.

Cristina, is the blunt one of these two. She will tell anyone and everyone how it is and doesn't feel bad about it at all. She doesn't like to show her emotions but when she lets someone in and they let her down, you see a side to her that you didn't really think you would. I think thats whats really dynamic about her character, is you know people like her and she's someone that some people can relate to.

But these two together, as the twisted sisters, make an unstoppable team in the OR and anywhere else they are together.

2. MerDer

Who isn't obsessed with MerDer. Meredith Grey and Derek Shepherd. We all wanted Dr. McDreamy to pick us, choose us, and love us. But when it was between Addison and Mer he chose her. But not only that, once they got through the first part of their relationship it became clear to them that they were meant for each other, while the way they met and re-met made us think maybe it just will be an element added to this show. We get dragged into their relationship and fall in love with him just as Meredith did. The elevator proposal with x-rays of operations they did together, the way Derek was always there for her, and the way they knew their relationship was something you had to work for and they both worked just as hard. I know I, for one, bawled my eyes out when Derek died. But now watching Meredith pick up the pieces, can give people the hope and strength they need to get through rough times.

3. The Guys (obviously)

McDreamy. McSteamy. George. Alex. Jackson. Hunt. Riggs. Ben. DeLuca.

These boys can make any girls heart race, and throughout all the seasons of Greys, when we lose some of these guys and gain some of them and fall in love with them all.

4. The Relationships

Meredith and Derek, Callie and Arizona, Jackson and April, Cristina and Owen, Alex and Izzie, Alex and Jo, Izzie and Denny, the list really can go on. If you've watched Greys Anatomy you know one thing, there are so many relationships, its so hard to keep track of them all, but none the less you will become obsessed with them, all.

5. The Other Doctors

Of course there are other doctors and characters on this show. And you will love them.

Dr Bailey, Chief Webber just to name two that haven’t been named so far.

Honestly everyone should watch Grey’s Anatomy, I'm obsessed with it and you should be too. Obviously these aren't all the reasons there are WAY more. But its such a roller coaster ride that its hard not to be obsessed with this show. Shout out to Shonda Rhimes.

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
