5 Reasons Taylor Swift Is A Great Role Model

I am a huge fan of Taylor Swift. I think that her music is very catchy, but I also am a fan of hers because she sets a good example for young women. Taylor is successful, strong, and independent and those traits allow her to set a good example for young women everywhere. Here are five reasons young girls should look up to Taylor as a role model.

1. Taylor is always herself

Taylor has always been herself and has never apologized for it. She has an amazing group of friends who she goes to awards shows with, and she is still friends with her high school best friend, Abigal. She is still the same girl from Pennsylvania even though she is a pop star.

2. Taylor is still the same person who sang "Tim McGraw"

Even though the sound of her music has changed significantly, she is still the same person who started writing songs about her first crush, who did not have the feelings for her.

3. Taylor makes lemons into lemonade

Taylor uses her heartbreak and sadness into awarding winning songs. She uses her breakups, and heartbreaks and writes songs about them that everyone can relate to.

4. She is the bigger person

After the Kanye West interrupted her speech at the Grammy's. She still forgave him, after he apologized. She did not let what happened to her at the grammy's inhibit her from making music either. Instead, she wrote a song, and helped young women either get in touch with their feelings.

5. Taylor appreciates her fans

Taylor has always owed her success to her fans and appreciated them for supporting her throughout the years. If you have ever been to her concerts, she sometimes stands still and just takes in the scream of her fans.

Taylor Swift is a woman that many women should aspire to be like. She is a strong, confident, and independent woman. All women should strive to be confident, strong, and independent.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
