Whether you are an athlete or not you should get up and go take a yoga class. From what I have learned the benefits of it are far better than what a typical person would expect, and it gives you some time to relax and forget about your stresses.

1. Affordable

If going to take a yoga class seems expensive, that ok. You have the alternative to laying your mat out at home and youtubing some great yoga videos. Also, don't think you have to be an expert with yoga terminology. It'll come as time goes on!

2. Yoga is for everyone

Think you need to be flexible to do yoga? Not necessarily. Everyone begins to start somewhere and through time, you'll be able to notice a difference. I never thought I would be so sore after my first yoga class, but it was a good sore.

3. Confidence in yourself

Yoga can instill confidence in yourself and your body. When you become more in sync with and understand your body, only good things will come out of it. I feel so refreshed after a yoga class, and in all honesty, there is no better feeling.

4. It will help you cope with life stressors

Yoga will not only relax your mind while you are being active, but it will also help you cope and come to terms with what is going on in your daily life. Besides yoga, there is also meditation. Some yoga classes have meditation mixed in with them. A candlelight yin is always a relaxing way to end your night!

So I recommend you get up and instead of hitting the weights or tredmill in your next workout, you try yoga and meditation. See the differences in mind over matter come true.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
