Boyfriends can be great. You can wear their oversized sweatshirts and maybe get a free meal out of them occasionally, but boyfriends have limitations that your roommates just don't. No need to do your hair, put makeup on, or even a bra on when you're chillin' with your roomies.

3. No one is better at having an impromptu dance party session.

Sometimes you just need a dance party to get you through the day, and — no shade intended — roommates are just better at it than boyfriends.

You can stay up all night and tell secrets, eat candy, talk about how lame boys are, but then again you do have class in the morning.
