Let's be honest. We all procrastinate sometimes. It happens. Why force yourself to do something you don't want to do when you could be doing something you enjoy? We all have our weaknesses. Mine is Netflix. So far I have spent 85% of my time at college relaxing with my favorite TV shows. I'll binge on them until the absolute last minute. Then I'll type a quick outline or study for a quick test. How can you not fall into the pattern of Netflix binging? You can so easily fall into a black hole of shows. You can try one episode and finish the first season within a day. So why not bring Netflix with you to college? I promise it will be your best friend.

1. There are always new shows and movies to watch

The binging never has to end when there's always new shows! It could continue through a whole weekend, because I have no motivation on weekends anymore.

2. It's portable

You can take it with you when you decide to be antisocial, which is pretty much always for your average college student. Long live the pillow forts!

3. It's inexpensive

Let's face it. Not only did we hand over our souls when we decided on a college. We also handed over a ton of money. We worship anything that is under $15.

4. The variety is to die for

I am honestly this frog when I am trying to decide between horror and comedy. Like, do I want to cry, or do I want to laugh?

5. It gives me a reason to be lazy 100% of the time

I am lazy all of the time. Without Netflix I would be ridiculed. With Netflix there's a valid reason to lay in bed for 12 hours straight.

Long live Netflix! It is the unspoken hero that college students needed. We didn't know it at first, but now it is everything. Go on show bingers! Live your best college life!

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Blair Waldorf
Stop Hollywood

For those of you who have watched "Gossip Girl" before (and maybe more than just once), you know how important of a character Blair Waldorf is. Without Blair, the show doesn’t have any substance, scheme, or drama. Although the beginning of the show started off with Blair’s best friend Serena returning from boarding school, there just simply is no plot without Blair. With that being said, Blair’s presence in the show in much more complex than that. Her independent and go-getter ways have set an example for "Gossip Girl" fans since the show started and has not ended even years after the show ended. Blair never needed another person to define who she was and she certainly didn’t need a man to do that for her. When she envisioned a goal, she sought after it, and took it. This is why Blair’s demeanor encompasses strong women like her.

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
