And why you should, too!

5 Reasons I Love Lularoe
Lularoe

Our current culture wants to be comfortable and functional at the same time. Efficiency is key in our current society, and it's certainly reflected in our fashion statements. Today's fashion staples for women of all ages are leggings and yoga pants.

Yes, there have been many debates on the subject of if some people should wear leggings as pants, whether there should be a weight and/or age limit on who can and can't wear them.

I'm not here to talk about that.

I'm here to talk about how amazing Lularoe Leggings (and their other clothing styles) are and why every lady should check Lularoe out!

*All photos obtained have been supplied by the subjects/models and have given permission to post*

1. They feel like butter!

I'm not even joking. They're so soft that they feel like a second skin.

2. The thick waistband sucks in that pooch!

It's no girdle, true. But, if you're self conscious about the pooch (of which is completely natural and is there to protect your reproductive organs!) like I am, you'll be happy to know that these leggings pull you in a little bit yet don't cause the dreaded muffin top!

3. They come in both solids and super cute, fun, and totally quirky prints!

If you like crazy patterned leggings, Lularoe is for you. If you like basic solids, Lularoe is for you. If you like bright solids, Lularoe is for you. Seriously. It's for you, you just don't even know it yet.

I have a lot of fun and crazy leggings: planets, tie dye, white with pastel flowers, and even antique sewing machines! I also love my two pairs of solids that can go with almost every outfit! They recently came out with heathered solids, too!

4. They carry more than just leggings!!

Lularoe sells tops, skirts, and dresses, too, and not just for adults! Do you and your little one want to match? They sell Mommy and Me sets of leggings and the like so you two (or three, or however many babes you have running around) can coordinate!

I love my Nicole dress. It's extremely comfortable and flattering, too. I also own a couple of skirts and t-shirts, my favorite being the Randy Baseball Tee! Most of their shirts are also designed to be worn with their leggings and therefore cover your nether-regions.

Even guys find the Randy Tee to be a decent fit! Of course, Lularoe is even starting to make men's clothing, too!

5. Lularoe costs about the same as any department store - sometimes even less!

A pair of Lularoe leggings cost $25. That's about the same as if you were to shop at a department store. They're cheaper than jeans and they will last a long time (as long as you follow the washing instructions, of course). Dresses can cost up to $65. Prices for shirts are usually just below $40. Being a broke recent college graduate, money is tight, so having comfortable, good-looking clothes that are affordable is the best thing ever.

I am not a consultant. I'm just a very happy customer. My main representative is Calli Mertan, but with all of the different patterns and styles available, each consultant has a completely different set of stock. It's amazing how consultants will support each other and shop each other's inventory!

Just look at how amazing Calli looks in her Amelia Dress for her engagement photos! Classy and comfortable

Calli, like most consultants, use Facebook as their main selling platform. You can join her Facebook Group to see all of her past sales (customers and Calli post pictures of "how we roe" all the time, including me!) and shop whenever she posts her inventory for a "pop-up shop!"

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
