Even though Lauren Daigle is a Christian artist, all of her music is about empowering people and put a fun twist on Christian music today. This music is not your basic Christian music there are pop beats and her voice is a little bluesy. You get a good mix of several different genres of music with her voice. Her music leans more towards contemporary than it does Christian. If she had not decided to audition for American Idol I don't think we would have got to listen to her music. I also saw her in concert and it was breathtaking the energy in the place is awesome. She definitely knows how to put on a show for a crowd. I also think her music would interest hipsters because her style is a hipster bluesy Christian sound. She has a rasp to her voice that is so recognizable.
