The Gilmore Girls are notorious for the many ways you can relate to them. Rory takes you on the adventures through high school and college; your younger self easily relates to the situations in which she deals with school and boys. Now that we're in college, we find ourselves starting to relate more towards Lorelai, her mother.
1. The hate she has for early mornings. In college, we love our sleep - being disrupted by our roommates ad neighbors is not ideal!
2. She also shares the hate that everyone has for Mondays. Mondays are that annoying relative who no one likes, but you have to see them at every family gathering.
3. Her addiction to coffee. Once you realize how helpful caffeine it is, it's likely you will never be without it again.
4. Without caffeine, she can't function. We all have those days when there just isn't enough caffeine in the world to help you remember the important things in life.
4. She shares the aggravation that comes with learning. We all get to the point in which we want to quit and become a blanket burrito forever.
4. And when you learn so much she understands what happens to the brain.
5. In the end, she has to give herself motivating advice. Sometimes we tend to be a little harsh on ourselves, but it's all worth it in the long run.
