5 Reasons Why The Kardashians Deserve More Credit
E!

Kim Kardashian became well-known after her sex tape was released back in February of 2007, but ever since then, the family has become more famous. In my eyes, I see the Kardashians as good people who work hard and have really created a brand for themselves. They work countless hours, fill their schedules, and handle being in the public eye very well. People don't give them enough credit for their business ventures or their work ethics. People who mock the Kardashians have every right to say whatever they want, but here are five reasons why they deserve more credit than they actually receive.

1. The Kardashians have created their own brand.

Believe it or not, people buy their brands. This ranges from the Kimoji merchandise to Kylie's Lip Kits (that are always sold out). Creating a brand takes actual time and effort; it involves going to photoshoots, posting on social media, and having endless meetings to make sure everything is perfect. So, for those of you who think they sit in their houses all day doing nothing, think again.

2. The Kardashians promote healthy lifestyles.

Going to the gym, eating healthy, and staying on track with a good routine takes effort. With busy schedules, the Kardashians make time to stay healthy and in shape. I know many people with ten times less busy schedules who make excuses for not being able to stay healthy, mostly because of work or other life obligations. The Kardashians are traveling for work, running around town, and seem to always be working. So, the real question: is your excuse actually a good excuse?

3. The Kardashians give back to charity.

Yes, we see Birkins, expensive jewlery, and huge wardrobes, but the Kardashians do give to charity like anyone else who has extra money to give. For example, the celebrity boxing match.

4. The Kardashians are business savy.

Anyone looking to go into the business field needs to know how to run a business, because for a majority of us that is an end goal. The kardashians have ran many successful business that are growing exponentially, so take notes.

5. The Kardashians know the importance of family.

I am an avid watcher of the show (I call it my guilty pleasure), but the family always makes time to connect and get along with one another. When Kim was robbed everyone went to her side within minutes following the robbery. This is how a family needs to be. It's crazy to see families that don't talk or find the time to see one another,

You can hate the kardashians, but they do, in fact, deserve more credit than just having a reputation for being "annoying" or "over privledged". There is more that meets the eye; you just have to become open minded and walk a mile in people's shoes before you judge someone for their upbringing.

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
