5 Reasons Having a Dog Makes You a Parent

1. Being Responsible For a Living Being

When having a dog you aren't just there to play with a dog you need to take responsibility for them. There's a million things that need done when your'e taking care of them. Walking them. Feeding them. Grooming them. You have to take care of them just as a baby would need taking care of. The only difference between these babies is that an actual baby grows up and can begin to do things on there own.

2. Always Need To Give Attention

Just like babies dogs need attention. When they wake up your'e the first person they turn to. If its to take them out to use the bath room or to get there food ready to play. Even if it is just to play. They need attention from their "parents". Being babies they want us to just give them all the attention we have. If we begin to even another dog they begin to get jealous. They are very territorial and when my dong smells another dog on me she gets mad. So attention is a key point when being a doggie parent!

3. The Love is Unconditional

When you have a dog since they were a puppy you don't learn to love them you just do. From the moment they come into your life you love them more than anything else in the world. When they don't feel good you just want them to feel better. You do anything to make them feel better whether it be taking them to the vet or just giving them ice cream just to make them feel better. The love you have for them is one of a kind.

4. You Are Their World

Just like you love them they love you if not more. They look up to you for everything. They rely on you to do everything for them like babies do. You become this animals world. When you leave the house they know your'e coming back eventually and when you do get back they are the happiest beings on earth. For them nothing is better than to be with you and just love you.

5. You Never Want To Let Them Go

The thought of letting them grow older and knowing they become weaker scares the living hell out of you because you never want to let them go. You just want them to stay as a puppy forever because there's no better feeling than to hold them when they are still small enough to where you can hold them forever. When they get to that point in their age when they start to lose there sight it is a sad feeling because you feel as though there is nothing you can do. But you know at the end if it all you will still be there for them and they will still always be with you.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
