If you are a fan of "Grey's Anatomy," you most likely will not need a list like this to tell you why you need a support group. "Grey's" makes you feel all of the feelings at once. It is hard to go through all of this alone, so here are a few reminders as to why a support group is necessary.
1. The Deaths
Like seriously, I am on season 9 and there are like four people still on the season from when it started. Several dead in really shocking ways. I mean, O'Malley? Denny? Lexie? Mark? My heart breaks just thinking about it. The plot twists on this show are so crazy. I mean, you think Izzie is dying and then freaking O'Malley gets hit by a bus! Like what? I do not think I have cried harder for a character.
2. Meredith and McDreamy
Like seriously, I have been rooting for these two ever since the first episode. It makes me so happy to see how far they have come as a couple.
3. The Babies!
Like seriously, they are so adorable. You hope for the best for them, and most importantly, you hope that they don't die, too. Seeing the characters transform into amazing parents is also really awesome to see (especially Sloan with Sofia!).
4. Meredith's Life
This meme explains it all. Not to mention she suffered a miscarriage as well. You just keep rooting for her to do better and to keep fighting even after everything she has been through. Even through all of it, she has managed to become a great mother and a great surgeon.
5. No one will truly understand you like a Grey's fan will.
Honestly, before I started watching the show, I was super confused as to why people were so obsessed. I started watching and it became life. Trust me, a support group is necessary because you will need a shoulder to cry on and someone to laugh with every once in a while.
