One of the best seasons of the year is just around the corner: Fall! There is something about this season that makes me so happy from the perfect weather, the leaves on the trees turning different colors, and the holidays that come with it. I am definitely obsessed with this season, and I know a lot of others are too. That being said, here are some reasons to remind you all why you need to get excited for Fall.

1. The Weather

I don't think any wather throughout the year is as perfect as Fall weather. It's such a happy medium of warm and cool that is never too overbearing. I love how in the morning you can wear comfy sweats or a flannel for class, but then when it warms up in the afternoon you can change into shorts and a tee. There's nothing like walking outside on a nice, Fall morning for the first time and breathing in that fresh air. It's the last taste of warmth until Winter comes and ruins everything, so soak it all in.

2. LEAVES

Nothing says Fall like watching the leaves turn gorgeous shades of red, orange, and yellow. Especially in Johnstown on the UPJ campus, the trees make everything so much more scenic. Before coming here, I had never seen such a huge amount of trees with turning leaves in one area. Once Fall rolls around, you will probably see me taking a picture of the trees almost every day just because I'm so obsessed. It makes me happier on my way to class and shows that one of my favorite seasons is here.

3. Fall Scents

I think one of my all time favorite thing about Fall are all the different smells associated with it. Whether it's pumpkin, apple, or spices, places like Yankee Candle and Bath & Body Works always got my back. I get so excited when they release new (and previously existing) scents for the season, and it's dangerous for me to go in these stores because I'll just want everything. The candles are my personal favorite because I love when the smell fills up the whole room, and it instantly makes me happier.

4. Fall Fashion

Fall is definitely one of my favorite times for fashion because I love sweaters, flannels, big cardigans, and boots. There are so many things you can do with just these few items because they are all so versatile. I love layering because like I said earlier, it can be cooler in the mornings, so if you wear a tee under your flannel you can take it off later. It will look super cute around your waist too. I also love how comfy these clothes are because I absolutely hate wearing uncomfortable clothes to class, so with Fall clothes you can be cute and comfy.

5. Halloween

Of course I saved the best for last. Halloween is such a fun holiday because you get to dress up however you want and no one will judge you. The crazier the costume, the better! I love thinking of what I want to be every year and seeing other people's costumes. Not to mention the excitement building up for Halloween because of the decorations and all the movies. No matter how many times you've watched the "Halloweentown" movies, they never get old.

I hope after reading this that you are just as pumped as I am for this Fall season.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
