A couple months ago I started watching Friends on Netflix and I recently finished watching the entire series. Watching it from start to finish puts a different perspective on everything, instead of watching random episodes on television that aren't in a consecutive order. Well, my point is, here are a few reasons why Friends is the best TV show:

1. The theme song

It was admitted by Jennifer Aniston that the entire cast was not originally a fan of the theme song. But I think we can all assume it ended up being a great hit. You can’t help but sing along to it every time.

2. The cameos

Other celebrity appearances made the show even better. Celebrities such as Julia Roberts, Christina Applegate, Reese Witherspoon, George Clooney, Noah Wyle, Adam Goldberg, Billy, Crystal, Robin Williams, Winona Ryder, Gabrielle Union, and Brad Pitt.

3. It shows realistic perspectives on life

Between all friendships and love, the series shows real expectations on life.

4. The characters are hilarious. Each of them are so different

The sitcom never fails to make us laugh. Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe all have totally different personalities which makes everything they do so interesting.

5. It never gets old

You can watch it over and over without getting sick of it. Let’s face it, other television shows will bore you if you’ve seen it more than once. If Friends ever gets taken off Netflix, you can bet subscriber would be very upset.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
