Summer is here and there is nothing better then a weekend getaway. But not just any weekend getaway, one with your best friends. Grab your bathing suits and the bottles of wine and get ready to have the best mini vacation ever.

1. Freedom

Ever feel like you can't do something because the guys are around? Forget that! Meet all the new guys you want to, drink that extra bottle of wine, take another shot. There is nothing stopping you from doing the things that you love to do with the friends that mean the most to you.

2. Relaxation

Vacations are great because they are all about relaxation. There is no set schedule of what has to be done. You wake up in the morning, take your time getting ready and eventually go on with your day. It doesn't matter even if you stay in all day, its still relaxing time with your friends.

3. No Judging

What is better than walking around without a bra on? When you are with your girls there is no need to wear make-up. There is no trying impress any guys, so just sit back and relax all natural with your girls for the weekend.

4. No Drama

There is something about a group of guys and girls that there is always drama. Boyfriend and girlfriend are fighting, two people have a crush on the same person, or even that one ex that none of your friends like. Don't have to worry about that! Not saying there will not be any drama but definitely not as much if it was a weekend away with the guys too.

5. Boy Talk.

It doesn't matter how old you are, there is always time to talk about boys. Whether it be about the current boys in your life or the guys you just met on the beach. If your single, talk about who you are crushing on. Arguing, vent to the girls about what happened. Your girls are there and want to know all the deep, dirty, secrets about all the boys in your life.

Even if it is a weekend sleepover, a trip to the beach, or an extended weekend out of town there is sure to be plenty of laughter and memories to be made. Cherish these moments with your girl friends because those are the ones that will be there for you for anything!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
