We have all heard the saying "age ain't nothing but a number," and when it comes to dealing with an older man, this saying is very true. When a woman is involved with an older guy, many people assume that she wants him for his money, and he wants her for the sex, but this isn't always true. Women are attracted to older guys because they tend to value and treat their younger partners with respect, while also exuding confidence and maturity. These traits, of course, are appealing to younger women who have only dealt with disrespectful, immature, narcissistic younger guys. If you are tired of dealing with boys, here are 5 reasons you should start dealing with older men.

1. They have experience.

Experience is one thing older guys have that younger guys really don't. They have experienced many things that you haven't, so they can teach you new things. Their experiences also make them good conversationalists, and when it comes to relationships, they know how to behave and usually know exactly what they want because they've already had a variety of women, so they have learned the ups and downs of dating.

2. Sex is better.

This obviously goes back to them having more experience. They have had more time to perfect their craft, and their many sexual experiences have taught them how to please women.

3. They are stable and secure.

Women, no matter the age, enjoy stability in their lives. In most cases, older men tend to have more money than younger guys, making them more stable. They own car(s), they live alone, and they are able to help out financially. Older men also tend to be more secure. They know who they are and what they want to do with their lives. A man who is stable and secure is very appealing and attractive to younger women.

4. They have a different outlook.

You're young; he knows that. So when you are freaking out about exams, your shitty job, your future or just stressing about life in general, he will be there to calm you down, tell you not to worry, and motivate and encourage you to do what you have to do. He's been where you are, so he understands how you feel (most of the time).

5. His hoe phase is over.

Having multiple women excites a young boy; older men have already been through their hoe phase, so they could care less. They've already had a variety of women; many of them have cheated and broken hearts and once they reach a certain age, they tend to throw their player card in. They don't want multiple women; they want one good girl who will only be bad for him.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
