5 Reasons Why Coldplay Is The Best Band Ever
Consequence of Sound

From the time I was in middle school, I have been in love with Coldplay's music. Their catchy tunes, coupled with the gloriousness of Chris Martin's voice, deem them the greatest band ever (in my mind, at least). Here are the five reasons why Coldplay is the best band in the universe:

1. Chris Martin's voice is #flawless.

A band is nothing without its lead singer, and Coldplay's frontman, Chris Martin, is no exception. His voice is incredibly unique and gives the band its trademark alternative, upbeat vibe.

2. Their songs are unique and make you feel a variety of emotions.

From classics like "Fix You" and "Clocks" to the newer, upbeat sounds of "Sky Full of Stars," Coldplay's songs have a captivating quality to them that make you feel a whole range of different emotions; they transport you to another world and have a way of distracting you from the pressures of daily life.

3. The band is comprised of real musicians.

Unlike other bands that need the help of auto tune to make their music sound remotely good, Coldplay is composed of real musicians that don't need special effects or modern technology to stand out. Sure, their shows may not be a complete spectacle like a Beyoncé concert, but it makes fans appreciate the beauty of their music more and the talent each band member has.

4. They're grateful for their fans.

Coldplay has always had a loyal fan base, and it's no wonder why. The band is known for their gratefulness towards their fans, and they always treat them with kindness and respect.

5. They're humble.

Unlike other well-known bands, Coldplay has always seemed to remain humble throughout the course of their career. They never come off as self-centered or entitled, and are appreciative of their fans.

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:

If you are like me, you have an interesting personality. Basically, you love to be sassy and snarky, gossip, and act like a total bitch (not really), but deep down, you are actually a very genuinely nice person. The idea of actually hurting someone truly makes you feel bad, and you probably have never actually hurt someone’s feelings because your kindness always shines through, even if you do not want it to. Not sure exactly what I would call this type of personality, but if you identify with it, here are some feelings you can undoubtedly relate to.
