1. Caffeine
As a college student, caffeine is a necessity to make it through the day without falling asleep in class. The only way to get enough is to drink several cups of coffee and on the more intense days, with a shot or more of espresso.
2. Taste
Throughout my years of drinking coffee, I have found different flavors and brews. I've had cherry chocolate flavors, had light brews, dark brews, all with different tastes and bitterness levels.
3. Hot or Cold
When it gets to the hot and muggy months of summer, drinking a hot cup of coffee just makes me more warm. Thankfully, iced coffee and frappuccinos are an option to still get your coffee fix in the summer. However, during the rest of year when it's cold, snowy, rainy, or windy, a nice warm cup of coffee just warms up not only your body but your sould too.
4. Meeting with Friends
Whenever you need to meet up with friends, one of the best places to meet is at a cafe and drink a coffee while doing adult things. It's also a drink that a good majority of college students consume so it's a great bonding experience as well.
5. Adventures
Although I have my favorite places to buy coffee when I don't brew my own, I'm always up to visit new cafes. This opens up possibilities to finding more friends or finding a neat place to hang out at while studying for exams or just to relax and talk with friends.
