As many of you know, the Chicago Cubs have shocked the world with their abilities by making it one step closer to the World Series. This is such a huge honor for all of Chicago and everyone in her. The last time the Chicago Cubs won a World Series was in 1908, 107 years ago. To put it in perspective, Teddy Roosevelt was president last time the Cubs won. Being a Cubs fan, I found it important to let all Chicago Cubs fans know that we support the greatest team of baseball, and here's why.

1. Win or Lose, the players of the Cubs stick true to what baseball really is. They play for the love of the game and not for the love of cash.

2. With the love of the game, they have the most supportive fans.

Every Cubs fan has to face the ridicule of others by being told, "Your team sucks, why would you support them?" How about the fact that the Cubs are well on their way to the World Series... That is definitely one reason to always be a fan.

3. Being a Cubs fan, you know the value of a tradition.

From the overuse of your favorite Cubs shirt to a morning prayer...Cubs fans know tradition. Growing up, a large majority of their fans have been grown into loving such an amazing team because the love for baseball lives here.

4. The Chicago Cubs have been predicted to win the World Series on October 21, 2015 by the movie, Back to the Future II.

As the date quickly approaches and the wins play in our favor, it means more to be a Cubs fan. The shirt is currently selling wildly on the Internet and with that the team has gained more followers than ever. If you think about it, many of your friends are probably pulling for the Cubs because it has been such a long time since they won a World Series.

5. Finally, the Chicago Cubs have made history at Wrigley Field by ceiling themselves away to the NDLS by beating the Cardinals.

This is the first time it has ever happened at their home stadium and with that a tradition was made. Kyle Schwarber hit a home run ball under the scoreboard and the team has decided to leave it there for tradition. The hype, the love of the game, the passion of tradition all lie within the Chicago Cubs. There is no baseball without "da cubs" and with that, the Cubs deserve to win the 2015 World Series more than any Major League Baseball Team. We have waited 107 years for a moment to call our own...it is our time now.
