5 Things To Do And Reasons To Celebrate Earth Day

Happy Spring! The season of flowers, sunshine, and occasionally rain is finally here. With the new season, we have another holiday in our midst. No, not Easter, but Earth Day. The holiday that could use a little more love. This year, the Earth Day Network is pushing for an end to plastic pollution for their campaign. There are so many ways to get involved in preserving our Earth and maybe just taking a second to celebrate Earth Day can be a start, so here are few things you can do on Earth Day and few reasons you should take part in the action.

1. We live here, duh! Celebrate, admire, and respect your home.

2. It is the perfect excuse to sit outside on a beautiful day and admire the beauty around you. Maybe take some pictures to remind you just how gorgeous the world around you is.

3. It may also be the perfect excuse to order those recycling bins you have been putting off.

4. Watch "The Lorax." You will never need another excuse to celebrate Earth Day after watching that movie.

5. And obviously, you should be celebrating Earth Day because you love the planet! Go hug a tree, maybe plant one too!

Don't forget: everyday is Earth Day.

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.
