5 Reasons You Need To Delete Tinder And Download Bumble Now

After having an off and on relationship with Tinder and after having all these horny guys trying to get with me, I needed to try something new. Not knowing about any other dating apps, my roommate told me about an apps called Bumble. I decided to download it immediately to see what it was all about it. When I opened the app an array of hot guys showed up and I swiped right to all of them! I could not believe the luck I had on this app. These are the reasons why Bumble is way better than Tinder.

1. Girl's Are In Control

Have you ever been on tinder and guys send you these stupid pick up lines and just start a conversation about sex? Well on Bumble the girls have to be the first person the start the conversation. Being that if you see that the guy is super attractive and like his bio, you get the power to decide if you want to pursue him or not. I find it empowering to be the one to message first. Even if the guy does not message back, at least you tried.

2. 24 Hour Chats

On Bumble, you only have 24 hours to see if the relationship is worth pursuing. I believe that is good to have because you wont keep talking on app and having it going nowhere. If you know you only have 24 hours with this person than you will make it count as much as possible. And if you feel like this person is worth your time, you can swap numbers or other means of communicated. Comparing this to Tinder where you can be talking to someone for ever on the app and never do anything about it.

3. Bumble BFF

Not only Is Bumble a dating app, it is also a way to make friends. I think it is so hard to make friends. Going up to strangers and asking them to be your friend is not usually an option. This app gives you a chance to make friends the same way you are finding a partner, by swiping left and right. The app sets you up with people in your area who are also looking for friends as well. I was talking to the girl on the app and she told me that she found her bestfriend and boyfriend on Bumble.

4. More Serious

Compared to Tinder, where everyone is just looking for hookups, I believe that more people on Bumble actually want serious relationships. People just seem more mature in the way they talk and the pictures they post. You will see less jerky photos of guy with there shirts off, instead it is a lot of innocent pictures of guys just being themselves. Also the bios are way better because they actually tell you want the person is like and their interest.

5. Photo Filters

Something I find really cool about Bumble is how you can add filters, like snapchat on your pictures. I love how I can change the style of pictures so easily with a just one swipe of my finger. It gives your photos a little big of pazzaz, when you can add your own filter to it. Tinder does not offer anything like this, but I wish it did.

So what are you waiting for try Bumble today!

10 Things Only Equestrians Understand

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.

Sometimes my brain just starts turning on an idea and it doesn't want to stop.

I don't know if it is related to my anxiety, perfectionism or depression. I don't know why it happens. It's frustrating, it's painful and it stops me from functioning.
