If you are one of the millions of loyal fans of “The Bachelor/Bachelorette” then you know how it goes. Twenty-five or so people compete for the final rose and a (historically short-term) engagement to that season’s Bachelor or Bachelorette. Some contestants shock us with their strange commentary and crazy schemes while others make their way into the hearts of America and have us all wanting to be their best friend. I think I can speak for the majority of the show’s fans when I say Becca Tilley is the obvious choice for the next season of the hit ABC reality show. There are countless reasons why Becca would make an amazing Bachelorette, and here are just a few of them.

She’s beautiful.

Seriously, just look at her. The girl is drop dead gorgeous. Who wouldn’t want to date her?! Hell, I would probably even date her.

She’s just cool.

You knew Becca as the low-key girl from Chris Soules’ season, and she got a fair amount of backlash from being “cold and unemotional” during her breakup with Chris. Really? Come on, people! Just because a girl doesn’t sob into a camera after being dumped doesn’t mean she doesn’t care or wasn’t hurt by it, it just means that Becca has more respect for herself than most contestants on the show. She has never been one to be involved in the unnecessary drama that this show loves to highlight. If being above the drama and not crying at the drop of a hat isn’t cool enough for you, then go back and watch her shoot a gun like a boss on her one on one date with Chris Soules or drain three-pointers while playing basketball with Ben Higgins earlier this past season. Is there anything she can't do?!

She’s honest.

Whether it was having the confidence to speak out about being a virgin at 26 or having the courage to tell the guy she was dating that she deserves someone who wants her just as much as she wants him and that if he couldn’t give her that validation, to send her home, it’s clear that Becca possesses the quality that may be the most important in a Bachelorette.

She's tough.

As heartbreaking as it was to watch Becca get blindsided by Ben Higgins after specifically asking him to send her home right there and then if he didn’t feel the same way as she did, I had so much respect for her in that moment. She stood up for herself by calling Ben out for doing her wrong in a way that showed us her maturity. It takes a lot of strength to be the bachelorette, and this is clearly a quality that Becca does not lack. She has shown us on many occasions that she has a thick skin.

She deserves it.

Becca has put her life on hold twice now in pursuit of true love, and if she’s the girl that I think she is, she won’t give up now. I can’t think of a better, more deserving candidate. She’s been honest, open, and true to herself throughout this difficult process and it's time to give her a real shot at finding love…

….And I don’t think I’m the only one who feels this way.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
