If you've been keeping up with the season, you know how important this is!

5 Reasons Becca K. Is the Bachelorette We Need
ABC

After the shocking twist in this season of The Bachelor, I feel that we need to be reminded why Arie is the worst bachelor there is/was and why Becca K. is the Bachelorette that we need in our lives. If you haven't been keeping up, *spoilers ahead*, then this past week was the final rose episode. Everyone was overjoyed when Arie picked Becca and proposed to her (even though we knew she was too good for him). Not long after the proposal however, Arie went behind Becca and called off their engagement because he wanted to be with Lauren B. instead. He ambushed Becca on live television while breaking up with her. It was heartbreaking to watch...even my dog was sobbing. Leave it to Chris Harrison though to cheer us up the next night by announcing Becca as our new Bachelorette.

Here are 5 reasons why Becca would make a great Bachelorette...

1. The way she handled the break-up with Arie on live television is admirable.

Let's face it, if we were in her seat, we would've been throwing hands, throwing the ring, and throwing shade. Becca managed to keep herself calm and collected before ultimately crying, which I should mention is understandable. Even on After The Final Rose, the way that she killed Arie with kindness was amazing. If it were me, I'd probably have to throat punch that idiot.

2. She is so sweet, like literally, an angel.

Even after killing Arie with kindness, she showed no anger or hatred towards Lauren B, the other woman. She even had her best friends from the show there to support her and you can see how much they all love and support each other.

3. She has such a fun and happy personality. Who wouldn't want to watch her?

"Let's do the damn thing!" It seems to be her new catch phrase. When a few of the new men competing on her season walked out, she was so calm and goofy with the men, which in turn, had me giggling on my couch as well.

4. After being dumped and ultimately losing her first engagement, she truly deserves to find happiness.

Everyone deserves to find their person in life who makes them happy. Becca was heartbroken and distraught over Arie who left her in the dust. This girl truly does deserve a man who treats her right. She even donated her six thousand dollars that people raised for her to a Cancer charity!

5. Show Arie that he is a real POS for what he did.

Becca becoming the new bachelorette is great because now Arie can constantly be reminded of what a great person she is and how she didn't deserve what he did to her. It'll be a constant reminder to him that he's a jerk and she's too good for him anyways.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
