1. One bite, everybody knows the rules.

These videos are hilarious for a reason I can not explain. Maybe it’s that he eats a slice of pizza that looks exactly the same as they do in all the other videos, maybe because he says one bite and then takes several bites, maybe because he doesn’t explain the rules he always refers to, I honestly can’t pinpoint it. But if you’re home alone this summer and need something to do, binge watch these videos for hours of pointless entertainment.

2. Miyam Bialik's Youtube Channel

You may know her from The Big Bang Theory, indisputably one of the least funny sitcoms ever created, or from being that lady who breastfed her kid until he was about 4. When I first discovered her channel, I had some preconceived notions that she was just a crazy celebrity. But unbeknownst to me, this lady is a badass. She has a degree in neuroscience, she’s been acting since she was a little kid in a cool teeny bopper show where she wore lots of cool hats, and she is very wise and open-minded. If you’re a young girl looking for some guidance from a cool, liberal, feminist lady like me, I hope you can appreciate the words of wisdom my girl Amy spits out in every video.

3. Barbramemes on Instagram

Okay, if you’re friends with me, I’ve shown you this before. You’ll have to see it for yourself, but let’s just say fans of Babs are very passionate and it is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen.

4. How Every [Insert Popular Artist with Annoying Fanbase] Song is Written

These videos are hilarious and educational. This kid is a college student (I’m guessing a music major) who listens to the entire discography of random artists and makes videos about how to write a song in the same style as them. Not only are they musically informative, they’re accurate to the artist and they’re funny not only for that reason, but especially because they piss off a lot of annoying fans of shitty music.

5. Supremebanana's Youtube Channel

Supremebanana is an L.A. based Youtuber who has an astonishingly wide variety of videos. She posts everything from slam poems to D.I.Y.’s to going to fast food restaurants and ordering everything vegan on the menu and tasting it to prove to her audience that being vegan is not as difficult as everyone makes it out to be. Some of my favorites of her videos, though, are her travel vlogs. She spent a semester abroad, and luckily for all of us she took her camera with her and made vlogs about what she was doing each day in a different European country and there’s something so calming about these videos. Not only that, she does a lot of videos where she makes weird food creations that are all vegan and they are wildly entertaining although I’m not really sure why. Also, it's refreshing to see a vegan youtube with "banana" in the name that isn't an absolute menace.

If you need a new series to watch, I recommend One Tree Hill. I watched this series three times now and it only keeps getting better. If you need any more reasons beside the fact that all of the seasons are on Netflix for your binge-watching pleasure, here are seven more reasons to watch it.

Friendship. It's defined as the state of being attached to another person by feelings of affection or personal regard, but what really is friendship? Is it that occasional hallway talk with that one person who always manages to cheer you up? Is it that relationship you have with someone where they can be gone for a long period of time, but when they come back, it's like they never left? Is it spending every waking hour with someone, and knowing every detail about their life? Is it the relationship that's filled with fighting, but filled with even more resolution? I've learned that it's all of these things, and every friendship is different. It's a beautifully dysfunctional mess that should always be cherished and never be taken for granted.

I've known you your entire life. More than likely I held you in the first three days of it and at least one of us cried. Cousins are truly one of the best things in the world and while sometimes I complain about how many people crowd Grandma's living room on Christmas Eve, I wouldn't trade you all anything.

You are my best friends, the only people who can understand what it's like on Thanksgiving, and you are the spunkiest people I have ever met. But you as so so young, most of you are just now starting your adventures in the public education system. I mean, I'm so very young too. I'm not married, I don't have children, heck, I just started my adult life, but I do want to give you what little advice I have. My dears, these are the things I want you to know.
