Five Quotes From Famous Books
Relatably

When we were young, when we started school and even now books have come a long way. Even certain quotes tend to be repeated from other people cause those words mean something to people. Here are five quotes I thought were and probably still popular today.

1.

This quote comes from a classic children's book Love You Forever, and is actually a song. The main reason this could be a favorite quote is it could be stuck in your head one day and all you can do is sing it. Another could be you have to tuck your child in at night (or the child you are watching over) and you need a song to help them sleep. This quote may be the one for you.

2.

Everyone knows this classic book from your childhood, James and the Giant Peach. Majority of these quotes may be repeated daily since this book got turned into a movie so many years ago! This quote really gets me because overthinking is a thing for me and probably a lot of you but what this grasshopper tell James is true; no kid can really think of so much reality at once.

3.

If you had to read any recommended book in high school, To Kill A Mockingbird might of been that first book. Every quote from this book may bore you to pieces but they can convoy meaning. This quote can describe anything you want it to but no matter how much high school students dread this book the quotes are powerful in the end.

4.

Another book high school kids probably hated with a passion, Lord of the Flies. However, they read the book for one second and they just want to put it down. Those who actually liked it and thought it made sense, then these quotes were for them. This quote really describes how life is today; you don't know what to expect so you're making it up as you go along. I mean, who doesn't do that now in days?

5.

This might everyone's favorite book that turned into a movie, The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Most of these quotes were mentioned repeatedly once people saw the movie. Who would blame them, popular movie quotes always get mentioned over and over until the next one. This quote about love couldn't be anymore true; whatever love is to you, you have every right to accept it. From the smallest to the largest acts, it doesn't matter! Love isn't easy so it's your job to figure it out.

Popular books give you quotes to get you thinking about life and the lessons you can learn. If you didn't realize that now, then here you go, you learn something new everyday!

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
