Makeup Addicts go through each day with a fabulously beat face but always have to endure questions from annoying individuals who just wont let them be who they are. People are often bashed and questioned about their love of makeup products, but there are a few questions and comments we are tired of hearing:

1. Why do you wear so much makeup ?

Personally my natural reaction is to ask you why do breathe so much? Some people feel better with makeup on it helps them feel prepared for the day. its like why some people dress up or wear heels, its what makes them feel prepared for the full day ahead of them, Please remember to each their own so maybe she likes to put on a full face everyday, maybe she likes fake lashes and lined lips. If it makes her feel like Beyoncé in the morning she ain't sorry.

2. I could/ I never wear make up...

My Answer: That's great. Chances are you probably only know how to apply mascara. Most people who say this are usually the people who barely wear makeup or just line their bottom lids for special occasions. Please stop bringing up how natural your face is in conversation, that is great you don't wear makeup but each side has its own advantages. Like makeup lovers can cover up any flaws with makeup. A blemish wont be spotted from a mile away so I guess I could never notwear makeup.

3. Why do you take so long to get ready?

My answer: Umm excuse me have you seen this cat eye? Or my flawless eyebrows? Make up is an art, most people do not understand that. Therefore unless you've gone through the struggle of trying to perfect your liquid or gel wing please do not ask someone why she is late. The definite answer will be because her face is beat and it doesn't take 10 minutes to fleek a wing.

4. Why don't you wear something natural? or I don't like it when you wear so much make up

My answer: do you buy my makeup ? Are you supplying me with this $40 lipstick and $25 highlighter ? Are you going to beat my face for me ? (Answer is most likely no) THEN I don't care what you like. People are often quick to have an opinion on someones makeup when they're not contributing to it at all. The only person who gets a say in what my makeup looks like is me and I will always think I look marvelous with my sharp wing and dewy highlight.

5. Why do you spend so much money on makeup?

Everyone has some sort of addiction they're not too proud of. We all have that one friend whose a shopaholic, they'll walk into the store just to go but leaves with 4 items in hand. That friend who spends way too much money on hair products. The friend who has every single sneaker to come out and is plotting on another one. So why cant we be the friend with the dent in their wallet from makeup. Plus in my experience, I've come to learn that everyone has a problem with your makeup until someone wants to use your eye shadow palatte because you have 180 colors but they only have 20.

Basically just leave makeup addicts alone... stop asking questions!

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. Recently I completed my freshman year of college, and boy, what an experience. It was a completely new learning environment and I can't believe how much I learned. In an effort to save time, here are the ten biggest lessons I learned from my first year of college.

1. Everyone is in the same boat

For me, the scariest part of starting school was that I was alone, that I wouldn't be able to make any friends and that I would stick out. Despite being told time and time again that everyone had these same feelings, it didn't really click until the first day when I saw all the other freshman looking as uneasy and uncomfortable as me. Therefore, I cannot stress this enough, everyone is feeling as nervous as you.
