Whenever I tell people that I groom dogs they always ask me a plethora of questions, and everyone asks the same questions. It is so annoying to hear these questions, and all of my coworkers agree with me. Here are five questions not to ask someone who grooms dogs.

1. Have you ever been bitten?

YES! Everyone who has ever worked with dogs has been bitten at one point, especially groomers. As a groomer you do things to the dogs that they don't want done, so of course some of them will bite. Actually, today I got bit. It is actually a very common occurance.

2. What is your favorite kind of dog?

Most groomers don't have one. Either because their favorite type of dog is terrible in grooming; therefore, they only love it outside of grooming. Or they do not have a favorite dog because there are so many dogs to choose from. Personally, pit bulls are my favorite breed outside of grooming, but in grooming my favorite is miniature goldendoodles because they do so well while pit bulls are too crazy and nervous.

3. Are you tired of dogs?

No, I am not tired of dogs, and neither is anyone else who works with dogs. If we were tired of dogs, we would stop working with the dogs, but we still continue to work with them and continue to love them. Anyways, who could ever be tired of dogs? They are the most perfect creatures that have ever been created.

4. Will you groom my dog?

Yeah, if you take it to my job and pay for it and give me a tip. I don't groom dogs for free, except my own dogs, so why would I groom yours? Most groomers agree with me on this point. I may, however, try to get you a discount if you're a friend, but if not, then, I don't mind grooming your puppy if you bring it to my job or pay me to go over to your place and wash it.

5. Is your job exciting?

Of course it is exciting! I juggle between playing with dogs and avoiding getting bit all day. It has its up moments and its down moments, but never any dull moments. It is probably one of the most exciting jobs that you do not need a college degree for, anf I love tat about my job. Most groomers will agree with me on that. Just don't ask this question because it is over asked and the answer is just simply yes.

I love my job, and those that I work with love their jobs too, but we all agreed on the fact that we hate being asked these questions. Better questions to ask us include things about the products we use, the types of hair cuts, types of brushes, etc. We just get asked these questions constantly, and they are just so annoying. Therefore, please refrain from asking these questions to any one after they say that they are a dog groomer. They are probably tired of hearing it.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
