With the arrival of Dak Prescott on the scene in Dallas as the quarterback of the future, Romo's days are
1. Houston Texans
The Texans still have are without a reliable starting quarterback on their roster after the Brock Osweiler debacle. Despite Osweiler throwing 16 interceptions in 14 starts the Texans still managed to win the AFC South. With Romo under center, the Texans could finally contend for a Super Bowl.
2. Denver Broncos
John Elway is always looking to make a splash and acquiring Romo is a risk their organization is willing to make. Romo wants to win a ring before his career ends and the Broncos have the defense to help him do it. He could go to Denver to obtain his ultimate goal of a championship and tutor first round pick Paxton Lynch.
3. New York Jets
Right now the Jets have no idea who their quarterback will be next season the Ryan Fitzpatrick experiment is over, Geno Smith is recovering from a torn ACL, Bryce Petty struggled when he was given a chance to start and rookie Christian Hackenberg wasn't active for a game until week 17. With Brandon Marshall, Eric Decker and Matt Forte the Jets have enough offensive weapons for Romo to succeed in the Big Apple.
4. Arizona Cardinals
If Carson Palmer retires Romo could step right in as his replacement. Going into the 2016 season the Cardinals were picked by many experts to contend for the Super Bowl but Palmer regressed on the after a career year last season. This may be Romo's best option other than the Broncos if wants his shot a Super Bowl ring.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars
Blake Bortles hasn't lived up to the hype after being selected third overall in the 2014 draft so his time may be up in Jacksonville. The Jaguars have one of the youngest rosters in the league and are in need of veteran like Romo to help them make their first playoff appearance since 2007.
