1. Bushkill Falls

Located in the Pocono Mountains, its described as the “Niagara of Pennsylvania” with all EIGHT of its waterfalls. You can get to them by a network of different hiking trails all surrounded by beautiful forest.


2. Pennsylvania Grand Canyon

Located right outside Wellsboro, PA and in Tioga State Forest, this is one of the most breath taking views you can find in Pennsylvania. It stretches over 45 miles and reaches depths of 1500 feet.


3. Great Allegheny Passage

This passage goes all the way from Cumberland, MD to Pittsburgh, PA. It travels right through the Laurel Highlands and is all set on old railroad beds. It’s ideal for people of all types, cyclists, nature lovers, or anyone just looking for an outdoor adventure.


4. Kinzua Sky Walk

This sky walk is actually the remaining steel towers left of a railroad bridge after a tornado in 2003. It was once the highest and longest viaduct in the world. It has now been converted into a kid-friendly sky walk that is perfect for all ages. The views speak for themselves and admission is FREE!


5. Dingman Falls

PA’s second highest waterfall and one of the most popular in northeastern Pennsylvania. It stands 130 feet tall and has many trails and bridges that make it easy to explore this natural wonder.

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
