Life is a more than just the material things -- the world itself has so much to offer. I think it's so beautiful watching all kind of documentaries and looking at photos of people traveling and immersing themselves into the culture of the places they visit. You learn so much and often come back from your trips with new perspectives on certain things.
Throughout my life I've complied a list of places I'd LOVE to visit one day -- for the nature, culture, or just the people themselves really. This week I thought I'd share with you 5 of them. I hope you enjoy this bucket list and get some ideas on adding or creating your own travel bucket list!

1. Paris, France
Paris is at the top of my bucket list and has been for many years now because I am absolutely 110 percent obsessed with Paris and its people. I have dreams about touring the Palace of Versailles, juggling freshly baked croissants in one hand and gourmet macaroons in the other, but most of my dreams are about me falling in love with my life at the top of the Eiffel Tower.
I think that Paris itself is a city of pure beauty. Everything, from its architecture to sculptures, screams with inspiration. The fashion world holds its best Haute Couture Fashion Week shows in this city. Also, Paris is said to have been my role model, Audrey Hepburn's, favorite place to visit. I think the quote "I've fallen in love with places I've never been, and people I've never met" goes hand in hand with my relationship with this city.
2. Madagascar
I don't have a specific location in the East African country I'd like to visit but I know wherever I go, I want to be with the woman who's balancing a water tub on her head in picture above. That woman pictured is my god-sister Jennifer. She's been volunteering with the Peace Corps since February and since then she's been changing the lives of all the civilians in her village.
Madagascar is on my bucket list because one of the things I will always want to do is give back. I think vacations and laying out on clear water beaches are nice, but I never want to neglect the fact there are places with people who are struggling to get drinking water. Jennifer isn't able to contact me much, but when she does she has so many stories to tell that inspire me beyond words. This country is a place I'd like to visit and volunteer at because I think it will be a true eye opener to me.
3. Santorini, Greece
I won't even lie, I added Greece to my bucket list after watching the Kardashians enjoy their family vacation in Santorini. I don't think that I'd be able to afford to stay in luxurious resorts and wine and dine like them... BUT Greece is actually frequently featured on a lot of lists for the "Cheapest Places to Travel." The country itself has so much to offer and I think the architecture is to die for. Not to mention I am a very big fan of Greek foods like hummus and gyros. There's not much to be turned off by in Greece, the country has beaches with water clear as day, so many sights to see, and all for such affordable prices.
4. Vik, Iceland
I'm not much of a beach fanatic but the black sand beaches of Iceland are a sight I am dying to see. I don't know why, honestly, but ever since I was in first grade I've always had an obsession with Iceland. It's always been on my bucket list, but recently I've seen it become a vacationing hot spot for a lot of fashion bloggers. The place is filled with beautiful waterfalls, geysers, lagoons, mountains, and just so many more breathtaking things. It would be a dream come true to be able to go here and witness these sights.
5. Chiang Rai, Thailand
I am a very big architecture fanatic and after seeing this temple I knew immediately that I would have to make a trip to Thailand at least once in my life. Although I've heard it's very similar to Vietnam, where my parents are originally from, I want to travel there and compare the two places for myself.
It just sounds so enticing to be able to eat a different Asian cuisine I'm not used to and, most of all, to be able to look at nature and RIDE ELEPHANTS! Thailand is a place I definitely recommend as the country has affordable resorts and very many tourist attractions.
Welp, this was it! Part of my very long bucket list! I hope you've enjoyed and were able to take some of these places and add them to your own to-visit list.
See you next week!
