1. Camusett State Historic Park.
Located in Lloyd Harbor, Camusett is a beautiful place to take a morning walk or to have your afternoon picnic. The park attracts walkers, runners, bikers, and even horseback riders to take advantage of its beautiful grounds and trails. One trail even leads to a beach with beautiful views.
2. Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park.
In Oyster Bay, Teddy Roosevelt Park is the perfect place for people to come and go to the beach during the day, and watch the sunset at night. The park has the Waterfront Center, which offers visitors the chance to rent paddle boards and kayaks. In addition, the beach is adjacent to a sports fields that allows people to have the chance to be both active and relaxed all within a few feet from each other.
3. Cold Spring Harbor Hiking Trail.
This hiking trail is a favorite of mine on an early summer morning. The views of the bay are beautiful as you trek uphill. The trails are flooded with runners and hikers with their dogs on any given day. The trail really takes a beautiful place and makes its visitors exercise to truly appreciate Cold Spring Harbor's beauty.
4. Wayville Beach.
Bayville is a little gem on Long Island that gives visitors beautiful beach days that are followed by stunning sunsets. The beach is never too crowded, giving visitors a serene experience.
5. Stillwell Park.
Located in Syosset, Stillwell is the perfect place for any runner or biker. The trails are long but nice for early morning runners to lose themselves in nature. Stillwell is home to many soccer and baseball fields that are sometimes open for anyone's use.
