Everyone who's ever been lucky enough to attend or simply visit West Virginia University that fall is the best season for Morgantown. With the semester in full swing by September and the weather finally cooling down by October, fall is simply to die for in this town.

1. The leaves make even the PRT ride look 10x prettier

The bright orange and red colors rushing past you create such a cool ride experience, making this old roller coaster seem a little less boring!

2. Not to mention the campus seems to pop against all the bright color

I mean, just look at Woodburn! Practically glowing! She doesn't look a day over 143!

3. Speaking of campus - take a look at the Mountaineer, am I right?

He's looking pretty good too up against all that orange and yellow.

4. Sunsets in Morgantown make up for any day that seems a little gloomy.

From the top of those West Virginia hills, the sunsets look out of this world.

5. Football. That is all.

Fall means football season. Need I say more?
