5 People You Will Experience In College

Meeting different can be good or bad.

5 People You Will Experience In College
Yasmin Nesbat

Since I have been in college, I have met different types of people. Some good and not so good, but that is normal. Thankfully I have met so many wonderful different types of people that bring so much to the table.

1. Future President

These are the people who are Political Science majors and think they will become President one day. Honestly, everyone knows that this most likely won't happen, but no one wants to shatter their dreams. So when someone says, "I will be President one day", just say, "yeah of course", then go snicker in the corner. I am not here to crush anyone's dream, but since you most likely started from the bottom, you most likely won't be here.

2. The Daredevil

These people are actually pretty chill, until they hurt themselves and you have to take them to the E.R. I have a friend who likes to jump from things and try to land on his feet. These are the ones that you could dare to do anything and they will do it and everyone loves them for it. They are surrounded by people always getting talked into doing crazy things.

3. Party Guru

These are the ones who know how to get the party started, but are also the ones who won't commit to one person. When they are surrounded by people all the time because of their parties, why would they just choose one? They are friends with pretty much everyone because everyone knows them because of the parties they throw in their dorm. These people will also go off campus to have a good time and they know where every party is. Their rooms are always "lit" 24/7 and there are always people coming and going. When public safety comes to see what the ruckus is, they know how to hide the party favors quick because they are real Party Gurus.

4. The Lazy One

Well, I'm going to start off by saying at some point in time this will be all of us. TRUST ME! We're all a little lazy, but there is that one person that turns it up a notch or two. This person will usually answer with "I don't know" or answer with a simple groan. They are the ones who don't really want to do anything or get up and move. They want to sit in their dorm with their food and Netflix and binge watch their favorite show and avoid all people.

5. The Stoner

We all know that group who blazes it up when they can. You can smell them from a mile away and all they care about is smoking weed. They are also the ones that can be really lazy and they binge eat anything in sight because they have the munchies really bad. When they aren't smoking weed, they are in their room taking a nap with food crumbs all over them.

Well, these are some of the people I have met while being in college. I know everyone will or have already met people like this. I know the ones who are down to hang and the ones to avoid.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
