Some of the great things about Los Angeles are the amazing views the city has to offer. From the Downtown L.A. skyline, to the ocean, there are plenty of places that allow viewers to look out upon the city and admire the vastness of it all. Fortunately, L.A. natives and visitors alike don't have to hike all the way up mountains to take in the city views. There are some local parks around the area that allow visitors to sit back on the grass or on a bench while appreciating L.A. Here are five parks provided to visitors for their viewing pleasure:

1. Angel's Point

Hidden at the top of Elysian Park, Angel's Point boasts extravagant views of not only the buildings of downtown L.A. but Dodgers Stadium as well. Along with it's views, the park also offers hiking trails for those who wish to explore the top of the mountain. There is also an abstract structure at the edge of the park for visitors to sit and admire the beauty of the city.

2. Point Fermin Park

Point Fermin Park sits right at the edge of a cliff in San Pedro. Visitors have the opportunity to walk along the cement path near the edge to soak up the sun while looking out into the ocean. The park also has a lighthouse which is considered a historical landmark. Visitors can take a tour of the lighthouse if they wish.

3. Vista Hermosa Park

Visitors can park their cars in the small parking lot, and walk up narrow pathways to find Vista Hermosa Park right at the top of the hill. This park offers an extravagant view of the city while completely shutting out the noise that comes along with it. It is a tranquil area where visitors can picnic, bring their children to play at the playground, or play a game of soccer on the large grass area that is provided. It can also serve as a date night location.

4. Barnsdall Art Park

There are plenty of activities to participate in while at Barnsdall Art Park which include wine tasting, outdoor films and creating projects in the art center. The park also has great views of the Hollywood sign and West L.A. Although it is a small area, the park makes up for it by providing guests with plenty of entertainment.

5. Lake Hollywood Park

Right beneath the the iconic Hollywood sign is Lake Hollywood Park. This is as up close and personal visitors will be able to get to the Hollywood sign without having to hike all the up the mountain. Here, visitors can roam around the vast green field to get in some exercise, relax or walk their dogs if they choose to bring them along. It also includes a playground and picnic tables.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
