If you were to ask someone what their favorite part of Halloween was, you would probably get answers as varied as the candies handed out. Some might say getting to binge watch horror films. Many would say getting free candy. A few might claim carving Jack-o-lanterns. For me though, the best part of Halloween is getting to dress up in costumes. Halloween is the one day of the year where you can essentially with no penalty or shame go out in public dressed up as whatever you want!

For many, the decision of choosing a costume can be next to impossible with all of the options. Everyone wants to be something that shows off who they are on an individual level. However, like with anything, there are those who would rather take the easy or uninspired way out and end up dressing up as the overdone or disgustingly trendy. Here are the five Halloween Costumes of 2017 that I am least excited to see every time I turn around.

1. Pennywise

Let's get right into the meat of it here. With the massive success that was the "It" reboot just a few months before October there are destined to pile on top of piles of people dressing up as the titular clown of horror. This combined with the strange clown trend that occurred last year is only going to cause more people to be waiting around every corner with their, "You'll float too" quotes, feeling so smug at their joke that they think nobody else has thought of.

2. Donald Trump

The new president is completely unavoidable now with his constant shortcomings and him finding ways to be outrageous or embarrassing every other day of the week. There are bound to be tons of people taking to the streets in his garb and orange toupee as a way to ironically make a joke of the president. Whether you love him or hate him, get ready to see tons of him.

3. Rick And Morty

I freaking love Rick and Morty. It is a wonderful show and honestly, I considered dressing up as my favorite pseudo-mad scientist and getting a friend to be my hapless grandson sidekick. I then took a step back and realized literally everyone who watches that show is thinking the same thing. The fact that just a few days after October began there was an event relating to a reference in the show (selling of McDonalds Szechuan sauce) there will only be more buzz on the hilarious duo.

4. Negan

As fans excitedly create theories as to how the next season of Walking Dead will go they also look to their favorite horror drama for inspiration. The last season has left them with quite a few characters to emulate with several people definitely giving nods to Eziekal, Daryl, Carl, Rick and Michonne. The newest big baddie on the show will definitely tower over them all though with Negan's hanging out in your yard, Lucille swinging in hand.

5. Emojis

This is the one that I am dreading the most. Unfortunately, the awful Emoji Movie (if you have not seen that garbage fire of a film please consult my article where I reviewed it to feel my pain) actually did get attention and now every tween wanting to look hip and every dad/mom wanting to seem with the times will be sporting giant emoji faces as they hand out candy. What a time to be alive.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
